You can journey through a dark fantasy world in Demon's Souls for the Sony PlayStation 3. This game takes place in the fictional kingdom of Boletaria, which is under siege by a cursed fog that brings demons who feast on the souls of mortals. At the start of the game, players customizes their character by choosing their gender, name, appearance, and starting class. There are 10 starting classes, each with unique statistics and gear. The player must kill demons in order to gain their souls, which they then use as currency to upgrade weapons and increase their statistics, including their strength, luck, and endurance. When players die within a level, they return to the beginning of that level and all non-boss enemies re-spawn.
