The retail version of a previously released WiiWare title, TV Show King Party is a multiplayer trivia game designed to resemble a television game show. Up to four players compete by answering multiple choice questions, though every player answers each question, rather than just the first who buzzes in. There are more than 3,000 questions in all, spanning categories like geography, science, history, sports, literature, and entertainment. Certain questions require players to use their Wii Remote as a pointer, as a flashlight (to illuminate the answers), or as a scratching tool (to reveal the answers). In between rounds players test their luck on a wheel of fortune that can turn the tide of every game by doubling or destroying gamers' wealth. TV Show King also features single-player options that let gamers take on computer opponents, or just test themselves to see how many consecutive questions they can answer correctly.
